EIF Mourns the death of our friend Nick Counter |
It was with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Nick Counter on November 6th. Nick was a leader and champion of EIF for over thirty years. As a valued board member and insightful board chairman, Nick's unerring wisdom and guidance was a cornerstone upon which many of EIF's successes were built. He was instrumental in appointing Lisa Paulsen as EIF's CEO, a position she has held for 20 years and was a rock upon which she depended during his board tenure.
His leadership was always administered with fairness, compassion and that wry humor that was uniquely Nick's. He will be missed as he was loved - greatly.
